I have been around and taught a lot of beginner how to earn money writing articles on the internet. However, I commonly see 3 mistakes made over and over again by beginners. In this posts I am going to tell you what mistakes those are and what you can do to avoid making those same mistakes.
Mistake #1 - Publish Infrequently
The most common and by far the biggest mistake that I see most beginners make when attempting to make money at Internet publishing is by publishing articles infrequently. If you want to make money writing articles and you need to write lots of articles, period. If you are not willing to write a lot of articles then you can pretty much guarantee that you will never be able to make a career of Internet publishing and that's okay if that's logical.
If your goal is to just generate some side income then publishing and frequently is not really that big of a deal. Maybe you really enjoy your day job and you are completely comfortable with just a little bit of spare cash. There's nothing wrong with and many people sit in that boat. However, there are also many other people who are looking to make a career out of this and to also replace their entire paycheck from their day job. So this really depends on the person and their situation. For those that are interested in making a career out of this, the biggest mistake that I definitely see for beginners is publishing way to less. If you're beginner then keep publishing lots of articles. Enough said
Mistake #2 - Write For Only 1 Site
Writing for only one website is a serious mistake that many beginners make. This is the same thing as putting all your eggs in one basket and you know that is never safe thing to do. Using a variety of different sites, I tickly recommend between 3 to 5, you are able to diversify your income and thus safeguarded in the future. What happens if one of the sites you write for gets hit? Then you have 2 to 3 other websites that are still keeping you afloat. This is the power of diversifying your income when it comes to your writing portfolio diversification is key as well.
Mistake #3 - Giving Up Too Soon
I see way too many people, especially beginners, giving up too soon on their writing career. Just because you don't make $1 million overnight does not mean that you are going to be unsuccessful or that pursuing an online writing career is not worthwhile. Both of those are misconceptions and are often thought by those who expect to have everything overnight. You simply cannot get everything overnight. If you want to be a successful writer you need to be always learning and constantly publishing articles every single day. After all, there is no limit to the number of articles that you can publish and there is no limit to the amount of income that you can earn.
