Social Monkee Review

if you are like most people then you probably want to develop a strong social media presence. In this new era there is a lot more emphasis put on social media and evidence is starting to pile up that search engines use social media analytics as part of their ranking system. With that said, it should be noted that social media is still by far nowhere near the most important search factor when it comes optimizing your site. However, as with anything else if you can optimize it to a high degree with little effort, then it's worth your time.

Social Monkee for Social Media SEO

One option that is come up online is a service called social monkey. This is a service where you can submit any URL that you want and have it mass published on a bunch of do follow social media websites. These websites are of course owned by the social monkey company and that is why this company is potentially a red flag.

When I say potentially a red flag I am talking about the fact that using this site could potentially do you a Google penalty. The reason they can potentially do you Google penalty is because it is hosting a bunch of self owned websites and using them to syndicate the service. Anyone who is not a novice clearly knows that Google is good enough to pick up on patterns like this.

That's why I would suggest staying away from this company. I do not suggest staying away from all social media promotion companies as there may be a few gems out there. However, I do suggest that you proceed with extreme caution and that you try the services out on websites that you care less about first. If it works with those websites and does not get you Google penalty, then you can apply that service to some of the websites you care more about.

Conclusion

To sum up the article I suppose I do not suggest signing up for social monkey for your serious websites. However, if you or someone they would like to test this out on a couple test blogs to see if it works, then I do think this would be a worthwhile experiment. The key thing to take away is that it should only be an experiment and that the experiment has positive results, then only should you use it for more serious projects.
